X Games announced music headliners on Tuesday as tickets went on sale for the Jan. 23-25 edition of the action sports competition.
General admission tickets start at $50 for Thursday but go up to $60 for Friday and Saturday. They provide access to all competitions and musical performances for the day.
A three-day GA pass costs $153, representing savings of $17 before taxes and fees.
The next tier of pricing, the Après Lounge pass, starts at $159 for Thursday, $185 for Friday and Saturday, and runs $476 for a three-day pass. It grants unlimited access to the Après Lounge, access to up-front viewing corals and other perks.
The Chalet pass grants access to the Chalet Lounge at the base of the courses with additional perks like a behind-the-scenes tour with gold medals, athlete meet and greets and complimentary food and drink. It’s $561 for Thursday, $690 for Friday and Saturday and $1,551 for a three-day pass.
Thursday’s events include women’s and men’s ski Knuckle Huck, women’s snowboard Big Air, men’s snowboard SuperPipe and a musical performance by Daily Bread, described as an “electro-soul and hip-hop producer whose music seamlessly blends vintage and modern sounds featuring nostalgic melodies, hip hop hooks and bass-driven flare” by the Tuesday news release.
Friday includes the women’s snowboard Slopestyle, men’s ski Slopestyle, women’s snowboard Streetstyle, men’s ski Streetstyle, women’s ski SuperPipe, men’s and women’s snowboard Knuckle Huck, men’s ski Big Air, women’s snowboard SuperPipe, and a musical performance by ILLENIUM, “a prominent electronic DJ, music producer, and songwriter.”
“Having the opportunity to play at X Games is especially exciting because there’s a synergy between action sports and electronic music. They complement each other so well and I’m stoked to be part of it,” Nick Miller, a.k.a ILLENIUM, said in the release.
Saturday does not yet have a musical guest named. On the courses, it’ll feature men’s snowboard Slopestyle, women’s ski Slopestyle, women’s ski Streetstyle, men’s snowboard Streetstyle, women’s ski Big Air, men’s snowboard Big Air and men’s ski SuperPipe.
The release also noted that Belly Up Aspen will host X Games Music Week. Details were not announced in the release.
