Wintersköl, Aspen’s annual “toast to winter,” returned with a full day of festivities on Saturday at Wagner Park. Activities included a beer festival and the return of Soupsköl, on top of live music, the popular bonfire, and a fireworks show to cap off the night.

The evening also included the annual tree lighting ceremony at the St. Regis.

Normally held in January since its creation in 1951, Wintersköl was moved to December this year in an effort to bring more excitement for winter ahead of the Christmas holiday.
