A Black Hawk helicopter transported nearly 500,000 pounds of concrete Monday to help crews lay lift tower foundations for the Elk Camp Lift replacement. The new lift will increase the existing Elk Camp Lift capacity by 50%, transitioning from four to six seats per chair. It will be operational by the 2025/26 ski season, according to Aspen Skiing Company.
