Aspen’s Buttermilk Ski Area hosted the inaugural Up in the Sky Music Festival on Friday and Saturday. The concerts were staged by C3 Presents and Belly Up Aspen, also known for producing the winter’s Palm Tree Music Festival.
Friday’s lineup included Shae District, Glass Beams, Suki Waterhouse, SG Lewis, and the headliner, Australia’s Rüfüs Du Sol.
On Saturday, the stage featured Jensen McRae, Nessa Barrett, Role Model, and British rock band Glass Animals, with Kacey Musgraves closing the festival.
Numerous DJs, many of them local, performed between acts both days, including Jontre, Lo_G, Ryan Golbus, Natti, Haasy, and Kid Kamillion with Quervo.
