Montauk’s Surf Lodge Heads to Aspen with Drinks and Bands

As the jet-set preps for winter ski trips, Montauk’s hip Surf Lodge is opening its Aspen, Colo., outpost.

After a pared-down pop-up last year, the mountain location is back in full force as the “Snow Lodge Supper Club” at the swanky St. Regis, complete with slated live concerts from British musician Edlerbrook, pop singer Jake Wesley Rogers, Leon and electronic duo Eli & Fur.

“Think dinner and cocktail lounge in a cozy, intimate, fun setting,” owner Jayma Cardoso told us of the new spot, adding it’ll bring together “artists, musicians and fashion.”

We hear artwork from Zoe Buckman, photographer Brian Bowen Smith, and Incubus singer Brandon Boyd will be displayed.

Dante NYC will be mixing up the cocktails.

The Supper Club is in partnership with Stephane De Baets, whose Elevated Returns owns the St. Regis in Aspen.

“Some say Montauk is ‘surfer chic’ and Aspen is just chic,” Cardoso tells us. “We say both environments bring people together to share unique and memorable experiences.”

It opens on Dec. 22.

Surf Lodge first headed to Aspen in 2019 and brought in musicians and DJs, including Shaquille O’Neal — who paid tribute to the late Kobe Bryant during his March 2020 set.

Its popular summer spot has hosted VIPs from Malia Obama and Tiffany Trump to Kendall Jenner and Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as Cuba Gooding Jr., Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, Alexa Ray Joel and Christie Brinkley.

John Legend, Jimmy Buffet, and Wyclef Jean are just a few of the performers who have graced its stage over the years.
